Information and Knowledge Management are essential to the efficient running of a modern business. Everyone needs access to information which will enable them to carry out their role more efficiently, whether this is company, product or customer related. They need to know what information is available and how to get it. The information needs to be filtered by individual/role so they only see the information they need. Knowledge and skills/training need to be readily available and in a form which is easily assimilated. An efficient team needs to know how the tools they need to use should be used; and where to get help/training on their use. Businesses need to be able to share knowledge and best practice, and to collaborate efficiently. How can PMR help ?
