Receiving Business Benefits though sound Programme Management

Programme Management is all about managing benefits. Project Management is about delivering business products.

You can (and should) Programme Manage a single Project, although it is normally multiple Projects. Programme Management is also used to describe managing multiple Projects.

The latest views are that you manage a Portfolio of Projects, but Programme Management is frequently used in place of Portfolio Management. In order to manage the benefits you have to define what they are, and find some means of measuring whether they are being delivered.
