The heart of Programme Management is ensuring that the expected Benefits
of one or more Projects are actually realised. Even individual Projects
are expected to deliver business benefits and a system/process should be
in place to track and manage these.
PMR has just created a Benefits Management system for a major
Government department. This is designed for tracking both qualitative and
quantitative benefits, including cashable benefits of a major change
programme. The package included an application for tracking Benefits
Enablers, Owners and Benefits Issues.
BM systems are complex, and generally either bespoke or requiring a
high degree of customisation. They frequently require specific data
gathering which then requires translation into other data. An example of
this is data which has to be gathered, by business units, based on the
number of staff involved in particular tasks and is then translated into
cash benefits associated with a specific business area such as HR or
Accounts.
PMR can create a BM solution designed to your specific needs and
tailored to your exact requirements. |
